"When to intervene in a loved one / name hoarder"
There is help for hoarders, as and when they want to change your environment or there is no direct intervention of a loved one.
When it becomes necessary to intervene in a loved ones name? The answer may be when their health and safety are at stake. Many hoarders have little way through the house and there is little space to really enjoy the surroundings. In many cases, there is mold and toxic mold that is quite deadly. This is due to their inability to clean inaccessible areas of the house. Mice, rats and insects usually infest the partial areas as well. These bring another set of diseases that can spread and even kill humans and animals.

Therefore it is difficult to security and anyone else who enters the house that is at stake. A good idea is to get help before the situation reaches this point. The weather will not make things disappear. Things get worse. The depression is in 99% of people are either, profiteers, clutterers, and the elderly. You do not have to be labeled a hoarder in need intervention and help in cleaning all. As people age, they can not keep up with the daily demands of operating and maintaining a home.
There are resources there for people who need help for themselves and their loved ones. Oprah recently issued, entitled "Within the life of hoarders" who was very informative, but lacks some areas, mainly in the dangerous environment that these people live in these mice are infesting homes and lead to a virus known as Hanta virus, and kills people, almost always.
There are other emerging viruses that scientists do not even have names for. I do not want the alarm to the extent that they are being overwhelmed, but I want my point of view, the intervention can be sought and the organization of unhealthy and unsafe life can be remedied.
There are very few companies out there that specialize in "Extreme cleaning and organization. Be careful, there are some who have joined the bandwagon of perhaps, cash on the perception that profit business. In seeking to intervene or help a loved one, do not be afraid to contact authorities. Usually people who live in a safe and healthy do not let you help them. It is only when in "steps and authority tells them there is a problem. Health services in the village can not claim to clean your house, but, if is infested with rodents, which can lodge a complaint and ask you before a judge within a short time. Sometimes this is what is needed.
I know from my own experience, this is exactly what happened. My own father would not let me throw piles of newspapers and other trash. I was only able to clear up a point, but never beyond that. I wanted to clean the house for nearly 25 years, but could not because of his insistence on not going beyond their wishes.
It was not until he became ill some years ago called "meals on wheels" that came in and had to assess the house for his own personal safety. They came and knew he was in immediate danger and living in unhealthy situation. They called the village health department called me. They asked to speak with me in person the village hall. I met them and they assured me that he only wanted to help. I said, if that's the case, this is a true blessing, because I wanted to do this for almost 25 years, but could not due to his stubbornness.
To make a long story short, I cleaned my parents house and 8 containers of garbage filled with all kinds of elements than ever before in a couple of lives could have used. I estimated that he spent more than $ 100,000. The accumulation of things in the past 35 years. What waste. What a shame. So this is the life of all the people who collect things for years and when it is organized and clean, who do you think will have to do? You, of course. Everything is left to the surviving family members. People have no time or inclination to clean a parent or other loved ones home after they disappear. This is where our company comes we go and find family heirlooms and valuable possessions and we can get rid of others. The best time to do is when they are alive, and take part in cleaning out.
