Walt Disney World and Downtown Disney brings you the figure of Princess Diana
Have you been wondering what would become of the old home of the Virgin Mega-Store in Downtown Disney, and no wonder.
Beginning in early July, the People's Princess Charitable Foundation, Inc. (PPCF) is bringing a new exhibition of real artifacts called "Diana, Princess the people "to that location. The experience shows time-limited and life history of Princess Diana, including a sample chose dresses that actual auction for charity, and hundreds of authentic artifacts that relate to your life.
The exhibition will consume 17,500 meters square antique shop, and will feature:
- The stories of Diana's own childhood and descent lineage and how she influenced in his selection as the future wife of His Royal Highness Charles, Prince of Wales, the future king of England.
- His magical royal wedding was watched by more 750 million people around the world, his favorite role as "mom" to Princes William and Harry.
- Kensington Palace, the royal residence where Diana lived from the time they became the Princess of Wales, until his death and now plays an active role in preserving his legacy of charity.
- The historical significance of her role as princess of Wales and the impact it had through that role in the fashion industry and the charitable landscape.
- How on Christie's "Sale of the Century", 79 of the actual dresses Diana were sold to benefit charities that helped the position of his cunning as a philanthropist.
- His premature death and mass media and public interest in the tragedy.
- The impact of charity is still recognized by their clothes and personal effects.
Some of the exhibits are:
- Royal Doulton figure of Diana in her wedding dress – made in 1981 at the time of real wedding, the doll wears an exact replica of the famous wedding dress.
- The Velvet Black "V" neck – Designed by Bruce Oldfield and worn by Diana for the real official portrait in 1985.
- Brochure wedding breakfast – Contains the names of clients and two tickets to see the bride and the groom before and after the wedding ceremony in the courtyard of Buckingham Palace and Clarence House.
- Three feet of Diana doll as a child – Published by The Great American Doll Company in 1998 as a tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales.
Unlike Virgin Megastore, you must buy separate input Diana the "People's Princess" exposure.
Prices will be $ 14.50 (ages 10 and older), $ 5 (ages 3-9). The exhibition will be at 30 November 2009. The daily schedule is of 11-11.
