Hand Painted Glass
This idea of painted glass gift is a gift that reusing recycling and remodeling of an old unwanted item into something new and desirable.
All you need is …
some spray paint or a glaze glass, some sticky transparent textbook that covers and some old glassware. You may have some old wine glasses or goggles of glass, an old glass vase, a bottle, no glass that nobody wants. If you have not seen anything suitable to their charity shop or boot sale the car. Glassware Buying second hand is still recycling.
Wash and dry the glass before you start.
Cut out shapes of the hedge book. You can cut swirls, stars or hearts. Make sure that the way that they fit into the glass. Bold shapes and patterns are highlighted small fussy designs.
Peel the paper forms and paste the book that covers the glass surface. The event sticky shapes as a mask. Whatever that cover will remain the original color of glass.
When you're happy with your design, spray paint the item. Make sure you use spray paint, in accordance with the instructions of the paint can. When spraying glasses, be careful not to spray paint the inside of the glass as this will spoil the design.
Leave the subject for an hour or so dry, then carefully pick off the plastic mask, to show the design. Leave the glass for 24 hours, also completely dry.
Wine glasses make an attractive t light candle. Bottles accommodate tall candles. Tumbler glasses make nice vases for dried flowers and bottles of small jam and Old Spice. Jars charming containers for Radox bath crystals.
