Baby Jesus
There are a number of characters and symbols associated with the Christmas holiday. Do you know the meaning of each symbol of Christmas? For quick reference, here are pose a list of typical symbols of Christmas with living icons.
1. Santa Claus

2. Advent Wreath

13. Christmas Carols
Carols is a medieval custom of singing and dancing around a Christmas tree. Most of the early carols were about Mary, the shepherds, the Magi and the birth of Jesus. Later, the carols sung by groups of people who went to the houses and sing in harmony. Early carols were not holy enough to sing in a church, for what was done outside carols.
14. Christmas Crib
The manger of a cow is the place where the baby Jesus slept. It is part of the nursery. San Francis made the manger scene for the first time on Christmas Eve in 1224 outside his church in Italy. He used real people and animals to recreate the scene. Some countries use wood carvings for the manger scene.
15. Typical features of Christianity
Angel
An angel told the shepherds the birth of Jesus. Angels come in many forms including Christmas decorations the tree topper.
Jesus Christ
Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
Joseph
Joseph is the husband of Mary.
Mary
Mary is the mother of Jesus.
